Harry Potter World

I recently got back from a holiday in Orlando Florida visiting the Kennedy Space Center, swimming with manatees, retail therapy and of course, having some fun at all the theme parks, Universal and Disney World.   Everyone needs time out from their work and the last few years have been very busy for me.

As my work involves clearing ghosts, working with negative and positive energies in feng shui, I have developed a fondness for the last few Harry Potter movies which contain wonderful moral and spiritual messages surrounded by witchcraft, wizardry and magic!

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is located in Universal's Islands of Adventure. Universal have done such a marvellous job of re-creating Hogwarts and Hogsmeade Village with many 'magical' surprises that I thought you may like to take a look at my amateur You Tube video of Harry Potter World.  I hope this video inspires you to visit Orlando, Florida sometime soon!

Time to back up your computer - Mercury Retrograde

Mercury is currently retrograde until August 27, so I recommend you take the time to back up your computer and phone contacts.  It may cause (but not always) difficulties with all forms of connections such as internet, phone, electricity.  Emails, letters and phone messages can go astray, so keep a copy of all important documentation and messages.  All forms of transport can experience delays due to technical or mechanical malfunction, so buses, trams, cars and airplanes may not run as usual.  Allow plenty of time to get where you need to go, don't schedule tight deadlines.  And most importantly, relax and go with the flow!

Mind Body Spirit Festival Talk - Feng Shui for Wealth

Carol's Feng Shui Talk

June was a very busy month for me and the highlight was my talk at the Mind Body Spirit Festival in Brisbane. I met so many lovely people at the Festival.  I had a great crowd for both my talks and everyone really loved the question time. People could ask questions on any part of feng shui, not just feng shui for wealth. It was a real treat to get away from the cold Melbourne weather and into the sunshine and warmth of Brisbane.  

I got chatting to Tarot Readers and Spirit Artists at the show.  I always wonder how they manage to work for long hours in such a busy environment.  But the readers and the artists both said they were on a kind of adrenaline rush during the day, but when they got home, they collapsed in a heap.

Your Ming Gua Best Directions - how to calculate your Ming Gua

In Asia, most people know their Ming Gua.  You see .... your Ming Gua can help you ascertain the best direction for you to sleep to support your health and stability, favourable directions to negotiate deals and sit at your desk to promote success and prosperity, and much more.

Your Ming Gua is calculated from your birth year.  For instance, if you were born in 1971.  Add all the numbers up till they reduce to a single digit.  1+9+7+1 = 18 = 9.  If you are female add 4. 4+9 = 13 = 4.  If you are female your Ming Gua is 4.  If you are male subtract 9 from 11 = 2.  If you are male, your Ming Gua is 2.

If you are female and your Ming Gua adds up to 5 - it converts to 8.
If you are male and your Ming Gua adds up to 5 - it converts to 2.

Don't forget the Chinese New Calendar Year begins around February 4, so if you were born on say ... the 2nd of February 1971, in chinese astrology you were born in 1970, so you use 1970 to calculate your Ming Gua.

Synchronicity - Living Now Magazine Article Jan/Feb 2011
